About Facthread
Facthread is an independent research service for difficult questions that ordinary searching doesn’t resolve.
I trace information across credible sources, verify key claims, reconcile conflicting details, and reconstruct the clearest answer the available evidence supports.
Projects can involve hard-to-find records, opportunity searches, historical questions, source verification, eligibility research, timelines, or other questions with scattered evidence.
The process is asynchronous. You send the question, context, and constraints; I investigate and return a clear, sourced deliverable showing what I found, what I ruled out, and where uncertainty remains.
Every project is evidence-forward. I distinguish documented facts from reasonable inferences, flag contradictions and gaps, and cite the sources behind the findings. If the available evidence doesn’t support a definitive answer, I say so.
Facthread doesn’t fill gaps with assumptions or work backward from a predetermined conclusion. The goal is not to produce the answer someone hopes to find. It’s to determine what the evidence actually supports.
Find it. Verify it. Reconstruct it.
